Tom Hagan brings over 17 years of information technology and disease management operating experience to Wellpartner. Prior to joining the company he was the Director of Clinical Informatics for PricewaterhouseCoopers. At PwC he established a practice focused on strategic use of clinical informatics by health care organizations seeking to transform care delivery while reducing medical and administrative costs. In addition, Mr. Hagan lead PwC engagements with major payers, hospital systems, and health care technology organizations.
Other positions held by Mr. Hagan include EVP Integrated Technology Solutions for Alere, Inc. and EVP and COO of ParadigmHealth where he oversaw the development and implementation of care management programs, information technology, data analytics, and warehousing applications, which enabled a fundamental transformation in patient care. He also served as CIO for Personal Path Systems, Inc., a provider of personal health record (PHR) and care management technology platforms. Mr. Hagan was also an original member of the Franklin Health Group (predecessor to Personal Path Systems) founded in 1991, and was instrumental in the development of the Franklin Health’s Complex Care product.
Mr. Hagan received a Bachelor Degree in Economics from The University of Chicago. He also holds multiple patents entitled “Method of Customizing a User’s Browsing Experience on a World-Wide-Web Site” and “Privacy and Security Method and System for a World-Wide-Web Site.”
